"I do not recommend working with this company.\r\n\r\nI hired Ortiz Mora Construction to replace a section of my backyard fence and install a gate. The old fence was removed and new posts were set, but the project was never completed. The gate was never installed, and several fence panels were left unfinished or loosely attached. What should have been a straightforward job ended up dragging on for weeks.\r\n\r\nAfter multiple follow-ups, Cesar Mora (owner) repeatedly assured me the remaining materials were on the way and that the crew would return “next week,” but no one ever came back. Communication gradually became less responsive and eventually stopped altogether. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before hiring this company."

The stairs were completed, but the handrails were never installed. After weeks of follow-ups and repeated assurances from Cesar Mora (owner) that the work would be finished once materials arrived, there was no progress. A partial refund was agreed to but never provided, and communication eventually stopped.\r\n\r\nA different contractor later confirmed the stairs were not built with proper grounding for handrails, making completion significantly more complex and costly (3x original estimate) than if it had been done correctly during the initial build.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, Ortiz Mora Construction advertises as licensed, but I was unable to verify a license through the NC state contractor license search."
